New Student Registration
Welcome to Central York School District, home of the Panthers. The District proudly serves more than 5,500 students in Manchester Township, parts of Springettsbury Township, as well as North York Borough.
Your child will attend one of seven of our schools depending on their grade level.
Elementary K-3
Intermediate 4-6
Secondary 7-12
- 7-8 at Central York Middle School
- 9-12 at Central York High School
In addition, the District offers Central York Cyber Academy for our Panthers that work best with cyber options.

You child's school building will be in touch with details regarding their start date and details following the registration process.
Please ensure you select the correct school year that you are registering for during the sign-up process.
Required Forms
First Proof of Residency (One of the following)
- If Purchasing: Mortgage/Settlement Agreement (NOT sales agreement) or Property Tax Bill
- If Renting: Lease Agreement with Landlord Signature (lease must list all occupants and children)
- If Living with Someone:
- Homeowner/taxpayer must complete an Affidavit of Multiple Occupancy (Notarized by the homeowner and owner must provide proof of residency)
- Person residing with the homeowner/taxpayer is required to complete a Residency Verification Form and provide proof of residency (driver's license, utility bill which reflects the address of the homeowner/taxpayer)
Second Proof of Residency (One of the following)
- A utility bill, Driver's License with Updated Address, or Vehicle Registration Card
Other Required Documents

- Child's Immunization Records
- Completed Physical and Dental Exam if first time entering school

The Central Experience
Central York School District provides a high-quality academic experience within a supportive, valued, collaborative community that promotes students' personal growth and the pursuit of their passions and interests.
Our Elementary Panthers will explore core academics in areas such as math, social studies, science, reading and writing, as well as music, art, library, and physical education specials. Our School Counselors also play a role in our educational program with focuses on creating a positive learning environment, peaceful problem solving skills and more.
Our Middle School and High School Panthers will experience a dynamic and rigorous academic program with experiences necessary to be successful, knowledgable, and responsible contributors to society. Our students enjoy an abundance of opportunities from all avenues including twenty-three interscholastic athletics opportunities, an award winning theater and arts program, various bands, chorus, and orchestra opportunities, clubs and activities for a variety of interests, and unique ways to get involved with their communities.
Central York School District is proud to implement a One to One Program that provides a learning device to support our student learning and engagement at every grade level. Your student will have access to their own device while at school. Students at the elementary and middle school levels will utilize iPads and students at the high school level will utilize MacBooks.
